Description:
This is a 1932 Remington Noiseless Portable notable for having a qwerty-keyboard-and-semi-colon-next-to-the-"L" combination, a "1" number key, and two extra keys (the backspace and the margin release) punched through the top cover. Also look at the "Remington" case latch! Alas, the seller didn't provide a photo of the back of the machine. I found this on ebayUK so this might have been made for the UK market.

I have resuscitated three Remington Noiseless Portables all of which I use often. There are two 1933's and one 1937. I live in the New York City area. I visited the Typewriter Museum in Milan, Italy in 2018 and saw many machines I'd never seen in person before and now have new understanding of the different sizes of the machines. I enjoy typewriter hunting and use TWDB as a reference. I am "noahwrote" on http://typewriter.boardhost.com.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington Noiseless Portable on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington Noiseless Portable By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
