Description:
This gorgeous lady in red once belonged to German Botanist Dr. Gottfried Knebel. In addition to an address label behind the paper table, he also engraved his monogram into it, wrote his name on the inside of the lid and carved a K onto the latch button. Clearly this was a machine he didn't want anyone accidentally taking home with them, can't say I blame them.
German layout and Standard Pica typeface.
The right side ribbon spool is unfortunately not original, but I found a pretty closely matching metal spool in my pile and painted it to match.
