Description:
Added an Underwood to my collection. They are nice to use and a lovely bit of craftsmanship. A bit of a strange place to have the ribbon selector, but then im no designer of stuff and it probably made sense to them when they went with that placement. With that said i now have to stop myself for buying any typewriter made in 1931, 1933 and 1935!

I picked up a couple of typewriters for display and use for the public at events where a police station is set up. The few i have are all Imperial Good Companions. Learnt to type on a manual typewriter, then on an electric one while in comprehensive but have completly forgotten how to touch type. Although pecking at the keys is more in keeping with a station.
