Royal 'P' Portable from 1930
Finnish layout
Vogue typeface
This is one of only a handful of known 88 character Vogue P's, and the only known Finnish layout Vogue machine. It was almost certainly a special order. Please correct me if you have more information.
It was originally used by a lawyer here in Finland as his travel typewriter, must have been a pretty cool guy to get something like this.
When I got this machine it was completely gunked up with old grease and most keys wouldn't type at all. I've cleaned and serviced the machine, replaced a few parts from a donor machine, and it also has a new platen from AKB Longs in the Netherlands.
