1929 Corona 4 Serial # J5P05083 1929 Corona 4 typewriter, Serial # J5P05083 Mark Schrad's 1929 Corona 4 typewriter. 2025-05-25 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Mark Schrad: 1929 Corona 4 Serial # J5P05083 One of the nicest Corona 4s I've ever owned: the Duco gold accent panels really make this one pop! If I recall correctly, this one was from the Clark Family Collection, purchased in Garden City, NY in October of 2024 (or earlier?) For the longest time, I couldn't figure out the wonky ribbon color selector. So it sat on the shelf, until I figured out where a spring was missing. And voila! All is well again with the world! (So I took it on a bit of a hike to take some pics at a local mill run/waterfall.)

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Corona 4 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Corona Serial Number page and the Corona 4 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
