Description:
I already had typewriters from my graduate alma-maters, Wisconsin and Georgetown, but when a second Wisconsin Corona 4 came available, I couldn't say no. It is only 23 machines away from my earlier one by looking at the serial numbers, which means it was probably on the assembly line at the same time, and was on the same shipment to Madison, Wisconsin to the local dealers there.
Purchased from a fellow collector in Lincoln, NE in July of 2024. Took a good cleaning, and it types reasonably well, even missing part of the right side of the ribbon vibrator.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Corona 4 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Corona Serial Number page and the Corona 4 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
