Description:
Complicated mech but Remington made them up to the 50's, 60's possibly. They are quieter than normal typewriters, and work about the same for the era.

Born and raised less than a quarter mile from The Noiseless factory in Middletown, CT. I've fought with the why. Why do I like typewriters when I always was interested in 'tech'. I guess for their day, they were high tech. I've acquiesced that for me the "Rube Goldberg" nature of complex mechanics is the main draw.
