1926 VariTyper Folding Serial # 252092PM 1926 VariTyper Folding typewriter, Serial # 252092PM Piotr Trumpiel's 1926 VariTyper Folding typewriter. 2015-02-10 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Piotr Trumpiel: 1926 VariTyper Folding Serial # 252092PM When this one showed up I didn't resist too long. Yes - the right ribbon cover is missing and there's no impression strip so the type sample will be uploaded later when I make one.

Currently it has two shuttles: Mathematical 135 and 135B which is a bit odd as the difference between these are only two characters as far as I can see.

-update-
I've fashioned an impression strip out of bicycle rim strip (as advised by Mr Polt and GEE of the Type OH! blog) but I'm not totally sure if I got the thickness and rigidity right. Anyway - here's my first attempt at the typeface specimen.
