One of the most popular typewriter ever produced, the first Remington Portable is today an item easy to find for every collector. Normally I do not like to keep in collection typewriters related to the period before 1930 but I wanted to buy this specimen, from 1926, for the not common peculiarity 'of the Cyrillic keyboard.

I have been an Italian typewriter collector for many many years. At that time, I loved very old typewriters from late 1800s to early 1900s. After a break of a few years I returned to collect typewriters but no longer so old, I prefer now the design of the 40's, 50's and 60's. Yes, I am an affectionate collector of Olivetti, of course, but I'm attracted to all the other brands from that period, not just Italian.
