Description:
I received this 1926 Imperial D in July 2021 from a collector in Sweden, as it was in pretty rough shape. My first early Imperial, I found it to be exceptionally easy to disassemble and reassemble, and all of the mechanisms were logical and straightforward. It has the straight Swedish keyboard with the full 32 keys, 96 characters. I tried to preserve the original decals as best as I could, especially the Josef Kihlberg decal, being the general agent for selling typewriting machines in Sweden at that time.
