1925 Remington Portable Serial # NK52642 1925 Remington Portable typewriter, Serial # NK52642 David Richman's 1925 Remington Portable typewriter. 2025-07-12 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of David Richman: 1925 Remington Portable Serial # NK52642 I'm pretty sure this is a Remington portable not a Remington portable 2 even though it does have a four bank keyboard just because the prefix of the serial number starts with NK. But I could be wrong and if I am, let me know and I will change it, these are absolutely beautiful machines, I cant believe the price I got this one for, $50 is a steal. This machine was a little bit to get used to though, a lot of the controls I'm familiar with are very different on the remingtons. Im not a big fan of the return lever.
