Description:
This is the incredibly rare Remington Electric of 1925. 2500 machines were made. 12 of them are known to survive today. This machine is mostly operational though it needs a new power roller which should go out soon for recovering. The designers of this machine are also behind the Electromatic (later IBM) electric standard from the 1940s.

I am a Densmore fan!
I like the early machines from the 19th century.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington Electric on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington Electric By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
