Description:
The fact that this impressive machine is sitting on my desk and working is thanks to two people who should not go unmentioned. Thomas Wyse, who found the machine and generously let me have it. And not only that, he packed this friendly monster and shipped it from the USA to Europe. Anyone who has ever packed a standard typewriter knows what I'm talking about. And all this with a wide carriage.
In Padua, in Alessio Vescovoâs workshop, the machine underwent a complete restoration.
Now it's ready to write many diplomas again.
For $29.99...in case someone is interested. ;-)

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Underwood 3 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Underwood Serial Number page and the Underwood 3 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
