Description:
This National Portable 5 I purchased from Darrell Aubert in July 2024, and was formerly part of the Bob Aubert collection of Delran, NJ. This is one of the many machines that Bob was in the process of renovating, but just never got back around to rebuilding. So it is in a million pieces. Without a similar model for reference, this one might take a while.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the National Portable 5 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the National Portable Serial Number page and the National Portable 5 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
