Description:
Got this for $25. It was all dusty inside, but I was amazed that the only problem was a broken draw band and missing escapement spring. It took me several hours under supervision to get it working again. The draw band was the worst part. If you don't have spring screws, you'll have a devil of a time making this work.
Typing on it is nice, but you won't be touch-typing any time soon.

I am a professional historian and writer. I have been collecting typewriters since 2013, and use them for all of my work (novels, short stories, poetry, non-fiction, and personal letters). I have a passion for all things antique, but hold a special place for these tools. Some of my collection is up for sale or trade, so if you see something you want, let me know!

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Corona 3 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Corona Serial Number page and the Corona 3 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
