Ham, Programmer, Tinkerer, and new typewriter repairman. Started with three nonfunctional typewrites: a 1916/17 Oliver #9, a 1936 Corona Silent Portable, and 30's Underwood Portable. The Oliver and Corona are up and running now, yet to start on the Underwood. The Corona is a great typer! Definitely a keeper.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Oliver 9 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Oliver Serial Number page and the Oliver 9 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
