Description:
This is a 4-window model, with a couple of special Rx (pharmacy) keys. It really is in amazing condition. Whoever had this took care of it.
It will need some dusting and a light clean-up but that might be all.
The Royal 10 is one of the most beautiful machines ever made. I especially love that they put *windows* on them: yes, windows! The first models apparently had 4 openings and no windows, then they moved to 4 openings with windows, and finally 2 windows only. Later machines like the KHM still have covered openings but no windows anymore.

I started collecting my first pre-WW2 standard typewriters in 2017. Since then I have added a few machines to my collection, which now ranges from the 1890s to the 1980s. As of 2020, I have more big standard (desktop) typewriters than portables, and a few standard electrics.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal 10 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal 10 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
