Appears to work just fine, but a little dusty.
Year of mfg is just a guess: assuming they made 12,000 units 1912-1915 starting with Ser# 100,000, or approximately 3,000 per year (not accounting for spin up or wind down), it would have been made in the last year of the run, or 1,103 from the end of the series.
