Description:
A glorious example of a Stoewer Elite, in original wooden case with lock and key, built in Stettin, Prussia just before the outbreak of World War I in 1914, which would see the demise of Prussia itself. Following World War II, Szczecin is now in Poland. This one pairs well with my Stoewer Record from 1910. The decals on these are stunning. They are incredibly well built, and a testament to history. Purchased in July 2023, formerly from the Bob Aubert collection of Delran, NJ.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Stoewer Elite on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Stoewer Serial Number page and the Stoewer Elite By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
