Description:
My best guess is Mar 1914 based on the "RL" prefix, but Remington numbering at this time looks pretty arcane. It has a right-side CR handle, center shaft type slugs. Type bars are in two staggered banks. It has the five "tab" keys on the keyboard. Ribbon spools are underneath with ribbon feeding through holes in the top.
I paid the guy $10 for both this Remington and the KMM next to it. Starting to restore it, if I can, in Feb 2016.

The pounding typebar, having writ, moves on... unless there's a ding.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington 10 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington 10 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
