Description:

Bought this over 20 years ago, finally cleaned it up a bit. Smooth operation, rock-hard platen, haven't yet figured out problems with tab system. Not 100% sure on the manufacture date.

Used 2000 grit wet sandpaper to remove (carefully) old layer of what appeared to be varnish, than polished & waxed.

Still has beautiful case-hardening colors on mainspring gears
