Description:
Excellent condition for 111 years old (as of 2024)! It is clean -- after much patient work -- and completely functional. This one came from the Warner cattle ranch in SW Kansas and had a thick layer of tar from cigarette smoke on it as well as lots of dust from storage. It is now clean, polished and ready to rock again, right down to a new ribbon. The first successful typewriters were made by firearm maker Remington, and you can see that they knew how to work with steel. This typewriter is quite handsome and has a lot of history.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington 10 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington 10 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
