Description:
Not only is it interesting from a design perspective and for being mechanically non-standard, it also has one of the coolest monikers of any typewriter ever. The McCool was named after inventor William Allen McCool who was a prominent denizen of Beaver Falls, PA at the turn of the 19th century.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the McCool No.2 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the McCool Serial Number page and the McCool No.2 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
