Description:
I got this Royal 1 flatbed from a 92-year-old retired key chopper named "Jazz" in Blue Bell, PA in October of 2023. I had bought quite a few machines from him earlier, and we struck up quite a rapport over his life and adventures, of which he's had a lot of both. Jazz had been trying to downsize, so I took this one off his hands, even though it was in very rough shape before I had a chance to get in and clean and service it.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal 1 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal 1 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
