Description:
This rare Victor 1 came from the Bob Aubert collection of Delran, NJ (August, 2023). Bob kept it in a tote, along with all of the pieces of the carriage, which is completely disassembled and will need to be rebuilt. Thankfully, it also came with a Victor 3, so that I'll have a template for repairing this machine. Fascinating to have a front-strike machine built on a Remington frame and Remington wooden key levers!

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Victor 1 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Victor Serial Number page and the Victor 1 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
