Not much to talk about other than this is a rare Duplex 1 where the typist was able to press 2 keys at the same time. The idea was that it would double the typing speed. In practice, this did not work, so this machine was not built in large numbers.
I am looking for the main spring tension knob. So if anyone has one from an Early Jewett, please contact me!
