Description:
Most of the parts of this Densmore 1b appear present. I note a missing part for the ribbon guide, and a missing part at the center of the carriage.
I cannot find a serial in the usual places, and I am told that it can be missing on these machines.
The paint is almost entirely bust, and so is the plating. This machine will need a full restoration.
UPDATE: I found the serial 6711 on the left side after brushing off dust and rust.

I started collecting my first pre-WW2 standard typewriters in 2017. Since then I have added a few machines to my collection, which now ranges from the 1890s to the 1980s. As of 2020, I have more big standard (desktop) typewriters than portables, and a few standard electrics.
