1889 Yost The New Yost Serial # 12315 1889 Yost The New Yost typewriter, Serial # 12315 Mark Schrad's 1889 Yost The New Yost typewriter. 2024-03-28 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Mark Schrad: 1889 Yost The New Yost Serial # 12315 Another Yost from the Bob Aubert collection of Delran, NJ (August, 2023). This one appears to be a New Yost, though there's no decals that'd belie much of anything. In good shape, but still needs a thorough cleaning.[Edit: Finally got its light restoration in March, 2024. The type sample is faint, as I didn't think it was worth fully reviving the ink in the ink ring... unless it were to get pressed into regular service, which seems highly unlikely].
