Description:
A project machine from the Bob Aubert collection of Delran, NJ. Looks like it was in process of being restored--which only seems to have amounted to sending the platen off to Ames to get re-covered. Of course, in the many years that have passed, it is also exceptionally hard. But it looks nice, though. These are the "before" restoration pictures (August 2023).

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Yost 1 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Yost Serial Number page and the Yost 1 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
