I am a Nurse Practitioner/ business owner/ supermom by day with a secret typewriter obsession by night! No one knows about my typewriter lust, not my husband, kid, friends - not a single person! I hide my collection in cabinets and under exam tables in my office. I pull them out and "play" with them during downtime to decompress, unplug, and tune-out from the online world. It started with a 1937 Royal De Luxe Model "A" Portable with the super-shiny bands and glass keys. It was LOVE at first site! Next came a 1953 Underwood De Luxe in a two-tone green with crinkle finish, followed by a 1971 Royal Tab-O-Matic! Award Series, and now a 1940's Remington Monarch 5.
