30 Points, Typewriter Hunter

I am a Nebraskan, and a Typewriter enthusiast, my interest in these mechanical wonders comes from exactly that, they are mechanical wonders, and I have always been interested in anything mechanical. Also the more I learn in life, as well as about typewriters, the more I realize that the entire world is in one big hurry, nobody stops to smell the typewriter oil these days. I too am guilty of falling victim to this deep dark hole of "progress' and can see the pitfalls of our technologically obsessed world, as well as what it could lead to. Detaching an entire civilization from reality comes with consequences, the likes of which we are starting to see, although many are still blind to the cause of these calamities, I find comfort in getting away from the blue glow of the computer screen and sitting down at a blank piece of crisp white paper, the likes of which I will print my desires on with the clatter of typebars. It clears the mind and brings you back into the real and away from the imaginary. The tangible is a hard thing to grasp in 2021, turning wrenches on these machines and learning about them can be very soothing to me(when things go together right anyway ) I also have written a letter to a newly gained pen pal and found the process very enjoyable. as well as freeing of the thoughts that constantly bombarded my mind. I am part of the Revolution.
