Just an engineer who does advanced technology all day, and lately enjoys exploring the lost world of typewriters, adding machines, and vintage computers in my spare time. I am loving the new adventures in learning about the roots of data processing (e.g., typewriters!) and computing machinery, and appreciating the elegance and beauty of machines that depend on mechanical precision, rather than logical circuits and abstract architectures. My collection has grown from 2 to....dozens in the last 9 months, now the trick is learning how to manage this new obsession. I think I'm in good company here!
