I'm a photographer and editor from Long Island, NY. My first typewriter was a Smith Corona Super Sterling, appropriated from my mother when I was seven years old (1978 -- she got a snazzy new electric model to replace it). As a photographer, I've had two solo exhibitions of my show "Office Objects," a series of black and white prints of vintage business machines, including typewriters, adding machines, check writers, and cash registers.
