My love affair with these machines began in the 1970s when I was a little boy. My favourite toy had always been a Lilliput typewriter, so when my parents brought home a heavy old black Remington desktop machine for me, I thought I was in heaven! Sadly, the Remington was given away after I left home, but I will never forget it. Some would say I now have too many typewriters, but of course I disagree. From Adler to Underwood, I love them all. For me it's all about the typeface. I adore seeing blocks of typewritten text and will always upload typeface samples of the machines I register here. Enjoy!
