I have a nice 1936 Corona Silent (serial # 1S 51381) with case in great condition. In the past I've owned a 1937 Remington Noiseless Portable, an Underwood Model 5, and a Smith-Corona Galaxie Twelve. I learned to type back in 1972 on my mother's 1956 Remington Quiet-Riter.
