432 Points, Typewriter Hunter

I was hooked on typewriters after seeing an interior design program where someone built some great backlit shelves just for their typewriters. It took a good 10 years for it to sink and then I watched California Typewriter documentary, just as a friend bought a typewriter, and my sister started a writing course. The stars aligned and I went down that rabbit hole. I've worked in engineering as a toolmaker so I loved turning my hand to making this using that, and immediately tinkered with the first machines, I was lucky to get mostly working machines but have repaired a few, making spares along the way.

I love the engineering and art in the design, the perfect combination of both in one place. So after collecting for three years now, I have about 30 typewriters, which range from 1923 to 1980. If I could replace pinch rollers Id be happier, but Im happy to do minor repairs for now.
