Description:
It was a risk, disassembling an 80-year-old tin toy. But it was worth it, now it is functional again and nothing was broken. I love this little treasure. The wheel with the letters is turned by hand. Large or small characters are selected with the front lever. The broken right lever presses the wheel against the cylinder and then the carriage itself moves to the next position....unfortunately, the keytop is missing. I just don't know if the side rollers are supposed to be filled with ink, or if the ribbon is missing. So no sample typeface yet :-). The case is missing too.

Historical typewriters, cameras, sewing machines, ... - all beautiful things, that work only on the basis of human skill and ability. Therefore, they deserve our attention and respect. I do not want to let those inventions that pushed us forward much faster than we were prepared, them disappear in this way.
Lives in Michalovce, Slovakia. Proud father of two children. Started collecting in March 2020. More a hunter than a collector or restorer. But determined to change it and bring the machines to a new life. Thank you in advance for any of your advice and help. (English is not my strong side, so I use Uncle Google's help. Correct me anytime).
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the GSN (Junior) Gescha Junior on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the GSN (Junior) Serial Number page and the GSN (Junior) Gescha Junior By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
