Description:
Found this online for $15. The print wheel was broken so it wasn’t typing all letters. Ordered a new print wheel and it worked perfectly. The one I’m using now is cursive font and I like it. I don’t know where the serial number is on this. It’s an OK machine with the ability to correct mistakes so I sometimes use for amateur writing projects.

I grew up with a fascination and deep appreciation for mechanical business machines. Mid-century typewriters, cash registers and adding machines. To appreciate the magic of these devices and the synergy of gears, springs and levers working together in perfect harmony is quite beautiful and an understated marvel of engineering and quality workmanship that has produced products that work exactly as intended for decades and even a century after they were produced. This is something that doesn’t exist in today’s world. My small collection (currently 19) consists of mainly portables, ultra-portables and a few Smith Corona 6 series electrics, which I use for amateur writing projects.
