Description:
Another of my exes - it now serves as the first typewriter of a younger typist...
I bought this on a lark - I was curious about using a typewriter still in production in the 21st Century.
Pro's:
- Lightweight
- Reliable, easy to maintain
+ No need for adjustments
- Interchangeable typefaces
+ IBM Selectric typefaces
- Easy to make corrections
- Ultra-quiet
- Supplies & parts readily available
- Company is well run
Con's:
- Keyboard has no spring, leads to errors
- Not a head-turner
- Typing sounds like hammering small nails
