Then, in the wild, I found an immaculate Brother PY80 typewriter (brand and model which I already have in my collection) with its original box and.... no less than six brand new Brother cartridges, still in their original cardboard boxes, in mint condition.
Another guy has offered to purchase just the ribbons, an offer which the seller refuses (lucky me!). So, I offer a lump sum and grab the six cartridges (plus the one fitted in the typewriter) AND the typewriter itself.
The typewriter was scarcely used before (perhaps just tested), its batteries receptacle is still factory sealed!
I consider this truly serendipity my collector's new year's present.
