Description:
1144. The first typewriter I bought was the Brother WP-1150, so I like picking up the different variations of it. This one has a fold up display and even a floppy drive.
There are some pieces missing, like the lower left key, the platen knob on the left (and there is none on the right). I may pick up another cheap Brother WP in order to steal some part from in order to get this one to 100%, but likely not worth it.

I started my collection back in 2017 when I found a 1993 Brother WP-1250, which was very close to the typewriter I owned and used to write letters home while I was stationed in Korea serving in the US Air Force (I later discovered it was most likely the Brother WP-1150, so I picked that up). In 2018, my wife took me to one of the local antique store and I saw an old typewriter that caught my eye. My wife purchased it for me for Christmas (a 1932 Royal 10). My wife and I decided to limit my collection to 5 typewriters, so I need to sell off my surplus.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Brother WP-760D on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Brother Serial Number page and the Brother WP-760D By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
