A very early Personal Word Processor (PWP), or a very late model Electric Typewriter. Hard to believe these were state of the art just thirty (3o) years ago. Functions perfectly. I thought the glass panel/plate was missing in front of the monitor, but I found a magazine ad that shows the unit sans the glass panel. So perhaps the glass was/is an option .

I am an avid typewriter enthusiast with currently over ninety (90) typewriters in my collection (and growing). I am a proud TWDB Patron. I have also collected vintage briefcases (mostly Hartmann) Movie Cameras (8mm & 16mm) and many Fountain Pens. I am the author of the novella 'Killer on the Canvas'. I am also a big Don Quixote fan. I make my home in Southern California.
My Typewriter manufacture dates currently range from 1883 to 1996.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Panasonic W1505A on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Panasonic Serial Number page and the Panasonic W1505A By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
