Description:
I was browsing Etsy in search of a nice typewriter pad when I stumbled across this cursive typewriter. It's a fun machine, that's for sure. The seller told me it's from the 1980's, but he couldn't tell exactly what year. The plastic is very brittle. There is a minor crack in the ribbon cover. Other than that, it is a really sunny machine. It does have a bit of a temper: it refuses to take my go to backing sheet: some thick sketching paper. I will have to use this one with a thinner backing paper.
25-apr-2023: sold to another collector who was looking for their first script typewriter =)

I fell into the typewriter rabbit hole due to nostalgia: I used to have a massive Olympia SG1 when I was a kid. It formed my typing habits, which is why I am called a "furious typer" by my coworkers. Came across the r/typewriters page on Reddit which rekindled my love for these wonderful machines. Lets just hope I don't start pushing screens off my desk when I reach the end of a line...
