Description:
Many people criticize these typewriters, they say, they are shaky, unreliable and blah-blah-blah.
BUT!
If its condition is close to new (or even new - they are often found in unpacking boxes in Russia) - it's cool typewriter.
Personally, I like it - it's light, compact, and cute in its own way.
These typewriters are known as the Commodore, Princess, Continental, Maritsa, Diplomat, Prasident, Facit and only God knows what other brands). And who invented it firstly is a mystery) It's not quite understood WHERE it was produced - on the body it is marked "Made in EUROPE". But Europe, you know, is big, could you be more specific?))

Hi everyone!
I'm Sergei, I was made in Russia)
A psychologist, a collector of all sorts of vintage junk, typewriters, alarm clocks, and so on.
I love typewriters, and typewriters love me))
I wouldn't call myself a HUNTER - I just love typewriters, use them and collect some of them.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Commodore 40 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Commodore Serial Number page and the Commodore 40 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
