Description:

Amazing electronic model from Canon factory: A Canon Typemate # 10 (not a Typestar).
At first sight, you can say "another Typestar", but looking further there are differences between the Typemate and its siblings:
There is no external platen knob;
Near all its levers are sliding mode on this model;
The ribbon cassette is different from the Typestar ribbon cassette;
Its overall shape is reduced in comparison with Typestars.
Is hard to find any kind of information about the Canon Typemate on the internet (text or images, my search results were a complete failure)
Despite the ink in the cassette ribbon being faint, I manage to get a Typeface Specimen Sample.
