What a beast! I've had some Smith-Corona electronics but none as hefty as this! Takes a C13 standard computer power cord which disconnects which is great - no more wrapping a cord around the thingy at the back with no place for the plug end to live. Power switch at the back next to where it connects. Serial port and some sort of SCSI port hidden behind a flip-up door. So many bells and whistles on this will leave me exploring for hours! Love the Tempo 10 typewheel it came with. Where am I gonna keep this without my wife complaining??

My father brought with him a Hermes Rocket when he emigrated from the UK to Canada in 1967 and I remember playing with it as a kid. This memory was reignited while I was in Montreal for work this past February and came across a stationery shop that had five typewriters in the window. When I got home, I went on the hunt for my first typewriter - caught the bug and haven't stopped!
