1987 Brother Charger 11 Serial # A731262924 1987 Brother Charger 11 typewriter, Serial # A731262924 Mark Petersen's 1987 Brother Charger 11 typewriter. 2015-04-01 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Mark Petersen: 1987 Brother Charger 11 Serial # A731262924 I guess some collectors buy in bulk and end up with machines like this which is probably how it ended up at the Chestnut Ridge Typewriter Museum meeting among many more appealing and distinctive machines. I snagged it because though they are cheap and noisy they are also small and indestructible. I bought it for $10 and I suppose it might be worth just about that much. I have wanted one for a while now because I think they are pretty and I know they can take some heavy use. I just wrote my first letter on it and it's not so bad, but can be quickly exhausting for the fingers and the ears. A great machine to travel with for sure.

Sold to a friend who really liked the look and color of it.
