Description:
Inside, this is identified as made by “Triumph Adler Royal Imperial” and molded in the cover is “TA” and the brand is given as “Royal”. Made in Germany. A lot of history in this typewriter.
It has pretty standard features for a wedge: multi-character correction, spellcheck, changeable daisywheels, lift-off correction tape. But no LCD window for correcting before printing. The "word correcting" feature (lift-off tape) is pretty neat.
Once again, here is an electronic typewriter without its manual. Good luck getting at those extra features.

While I find all of mankind's inventions interesting, I am most enchanted by the human-scale arts and devices, the ones that can be created (and repaired) in a home workshop or studio; the ones that can be understood by looking at them; the ones that do something useful or stir admiration. Typewriters work for me.
