1140. I believe 1984 is a reasonable guess for the year of this machine. This came with a manual which was printed in 1984. Given that these types of typewriters do not have long lives, I would 1984 or 1985 is a really good guess.
This machine is pretty clean. I will give it a full test in the near future to see if it is fully operational.

I started my collection back in 2017 when I found a 1993 Brother WP-1250, which was very close to the typewriter I owned and used to write letters home while I was stationed in Korea serving in the US Air Force (I later discovered it was most likely the Brother WP-1150, so I picked that up). In 2018, my wife took me to one of the local antique store and I saw an old typewriter that caught my eye. My wife purchased it for me for Christmas (a 1932 Royal 10). My wife and I decided to limit my collection to 5 typewriters, so I need to sell off my surplus.
