Description:
Kristall type
German keyboard
Olympia, for a while, had Robotrons made for them alongside the Japanese machines. it's a good thing they did because a Robotron Olympia is way better than a Nakajima Olympia.
The green is different from that used on normal Erika Robotrons. It's the same as the green used on the plastic body of a later West German Olympia portable.

I started collecting typewriters in 2006, but what started it all was using my mother's Brother Student-Riter XL1 in 2004. The next year I received my grandma's Smith-Corona Silent, which was enough to hold me over for a little while but eventually led to an obsession with manual portable typewriters.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Robotron Olympia Regina De Luxe on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Robotron Serial Number page and the Robotron Olympia Regina De Luxe By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
